Michael Malik, BDS, DDS, MD
Dr. Michael Malik was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, where he also completed his dental degree in 2010. He then joined the Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists (ASPID) at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Following dental school, he completed a one-year internship in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana. Dr. Malik went on to earn his medical degree (MD) and completed a General Surgery internship at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He then completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, followed by a fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at the University of Florida in Jacksonville.
Beyond surgical oncology, Dr. Malik’s interests include wisdom teeth removal, dental implants and oral reconstruction.
Outside of work, Dr. Malik is an aviation enthusiast; he is a licensed pilot and enjoys flying in his free time.
